Since 1994, SPORTIME has been proud to operate the finest tennis and sports facilities in New York State. SPORTIME has 15 facility locations, most recently adding the iconic Port Washington Tennis Academy, now SPORTIME Port Washington, the largest indoor racket sports facility on Long Island. SPORTIME currently offers 194 indoor and outdoor tennis courts and 70 pickleball courts, as well as rinks, turf, camps, gyms and more, at sites across Long Island, in NYC, in Westchester and in the NY Capital Region. SPORTIME clubs are state-of-the-art, yet affordable, and feature the best tennis, sports and fitness facilities and programs, including the John McEnroe Tennis Academy and SPORTIME Volleyball Club). SPORTIME clubs serve individuals of every age and athletic ability, 365 days a year.

 

BASIC JOB FUNCTION : Function as primary contact for camp families by email/phone/text; manage camp database; manage camp office; organize and track camp paperwork; manage camp staff; assist with onboarding; manage and track payroll and expenses; assist with marketing campaigns; oversee a variety of administrative responsibilities including report generation and communications.

SKILLS REQUIRED : 

• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, phone, and email skills; commitment and capacity to respond to all correspondence in a timely and professional manner. Highly attentive to the needs of camp families.
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A reliable team player who is willing to do whatever is necessary to ensure that camp runs smoothly.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills, including Microsoft Office; database and spreadsheet skills a plus.
• Ability to learn new software, including SPORTIME’s club/camp management, POS and database management software.

SALARY RANGE : $75,000 - $85,000 per year (based on experience)

SCHEDULE: 

• Spring, Summer and Fall Seasons, between 40-52 hours per week
• Off-Season, November 1 - March 15: Flexible Remote Hybrid (Schedule TBD)

Please note that position does not offer company-provided housing.  Candidates should be able to commute to the Amagansett site daily.

401k Plan with employer match – Employees are eligible to enroll in Sportime’s 401k retirement plan, with matching, after they have completed one year of continuous service, worked at least 1000 hours in such calendar or anniversary year, and are over 21 years old (matching restrictions apply based on annual salary).
