Job Description

As Maintenance Facilities Supervisor at Kellanova, you will play a key role in the facility's operation, delivering maintenance programs and processes essential to our plant's operation. Based in one of our state-of-the-art facilities, you will lead and develop a team of employees to sustain and maintain plant critical equipment. You will manage building contracted services that support our day-to-day operation, conducting regulatory inspections and building and equipment repairs. This role will be scheduled for Monday – Friday,  5:30 am – 2:30 pm, with occasional weekend work to address plant repairs needed during outages.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Driving Compliance  –   Facilitate environmental compliance, including processing wastewater, air permit compliance, and CFC management.
  • Strategizing to Win  –   Directing, training, and developing facility team members for assigned areas/shifts. Schedule and Plan work from a Master management calendar.
  • Driving Efficiency  - Use problem-solving skills and root-cause analysis to resolve and/or mitigate facility issues.
  • Impacting Results  - Accountable for facility equipment operation and readiness - boilers and related steam systems, air compressors, dryers, cooling towers, HVAC systems, chillers, pumps, TOX units, plumbing, and drains.
  • Taking a New Angle  - Identifying, implementing, and documenting maintenance and reliability best practices incorporating a culture of inclusion and continuity within all departments.

  We're Looking for Someone With

 

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Work experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Electrical and Mechanical competency, able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints.
  • Strong technical aptitude.
  • Computer competency working with Microsoft Office and CMM systems.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and problem-solve.
  • Demonstrate an ability to lead and motivate others.

Compensation

 

The annual salary range is $72,600 - $95,235, which is based on various factors such as location, experience, and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
