Job Summary:

Flexcompute is seeking a highly skilled and experienced UX/UI Designer to join our growing CFD product development team. The successful candidate will have a critical role in creating intuitive and user-centered digital experiences that delight our customers. You will collaborate closely with product managers, product development, and other designers to translate user needs into innovative and impactful design solutions for Flexcompute’s sophisticated multi-physics simulation and design optimization technologies.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct user research and analysis, including user interviews, usability testing, and data analysis, to understand user needs and pain points.
  • Define and document user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Create high-fidelity designs for web platforms, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to design systems.
  • Collaborate with development to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate on designs and improve the user experience.
  • Stay abreast of the latest design trends and technologies, and continuously explore new and innovative design approaches.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides.
  • Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on design best practices.
  • Present design work to stakeholders and effectively communicate design rationale and decisions.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a UX/UI Designer.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a high level of design skill.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.
  • Experience with user research methodologies, including user interviews, usability testing, and data analysis.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
  • CAE previous experience is preferred
