About the teaching assistant role:

• We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant Lower Key Stage 2 team.
• This role is ideal for an individual passionate about supporting the learning and development of young learners within a primary school setting.
• Working closely with the class teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment, helping each child reach their full potential.
• This teaching assistant position is a full-time, long-term opportunity starting immediately and will require a proactive, flexible, and nurturing approach to support pupils' academic and emotional growth.

An immediate start is required for the teaching assistant role, and you must be able to able to work 5 days per week, Monday to Friday- Please do not apply for the role if you cannot commit to the required hours and days.

You will have:

• Teaching assistant level 1, 2 or 3, or equivalent (But not essential) or valid experience in a LWKS2 class for at least 6 months
• Two references- at least one from an education provider or similar setting
• Able to work as part of a team and support the ethos of a school
• Experience supporting varying levels of need and abilities as a teaching assistant
• Experience of providing a positive learning environment as a teaching assistant or in a similar role
