Position Summary: Seeking a skilled individual for our accounting firm in Lynbrook, NY, with expertise in tax and accounting tasks, including the preparation of personal and business tax returns, bookkeeping, payroll tax returns, and adept handling of IRS notices with effective communication to the IRS and state departments. Summary of Responsibilities: Complete tax and accounting tasks with precision and attention to detail. Prepare both personal and business tax returns. Manage bookkeeping duties. Handle payroll tax returns. Communicate effectively with IRS and State departments. Skills and Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. 2 - 3 years of accounting and tax work experience. Experience with Ultra-Tax, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently and with a team. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
