Job Description

The Sr. Front End Developer role works across a variety of digital projects, focusing on creating experiences that are highly engaging and usable.  You need to be passionate about what you do and bring that to every project you work on.  You are highly organized, easy to work with, and respectful and collaborative with a variety of technical and non-technical people.  You are constantly learning new approaches and techniques and seeking ways to improve your skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Take creative ideas from concept to production
• Collaborate closely with design, production and development
• Build, design, and code new features and enhancements across various client sites
• Develop bug free and highly usable interfaces and software that people want to interact with
• Keep up with current technologies and programming approaches
• Share your technical knowledge with non-technical people

Key Skills:

• High level of competency in a variety of languages: HTML, CSS, Javascript, AS2/3
• Knowledge and application of standards compliant HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery
• Knowledge of any of the following a big plus: PHP, .NET, Rails, Java
• Experience of developing and optimizing for mobile web browsers
• Solid understanding of browser-specific rendering, including email clients
• Experience with tracking and analytics integration
• Write clean and reusable code that is well documented and easy to read
• Be very detail orientated and appreciate great design principles
• Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with other developers

Salary range: $160,000-$180,000
