The Stateview Hotel, Marriott Autograph Collection is looking for our next talented team member to join our culinary team. We are committed to providing you with:

• Highly competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $70,000 (based on experience).

Here is what you will do each day:

As a Sous Chef, you will use your advanced culinary expertise, menu planning, kitchen management, strong leadership, and communication skills. In addition, you will need the ability to manage budgets, inventory, and supplier relationships. Ensure a safe and efficient kitchen environment through your problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

Reflects minimum education, training, certification and experience required in order to meet the expectations of this job:

• Any combination of culinary education and/or cooking experience to equal five years.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation practices, quality control, recipe interpretation and prep duties.
• Must complete formal tasting audition.
• Basic knowledge of computer keyboard for simple data entry or information retrieval.
• Certified Food Service Manager Certificate or ability to obtain within one year of employment.

Compensation Range: The compensation for this position is $65,000.00/Yr. - $70,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
