Job Description

A leading critical access hospital located in northern New Hampshire is now seeking an experienced Regional Medical Director Bedside Ultrasound Program to join their award-winning healthcare team.

This full-service critical access hospital boasts 25 inpatient beds and offers personalized medical, surgical, and intensive care services. This location also offers various other inpatient and outpatient services including cardiovascular, rehabilitation, oncology care, and diagnostic services.

Reporting to system leadership, the Regional Medical Director will lead the strategic development and operation of the Bedside Ultrasound Program across three hospital locations. Responsibilities include works with hospital leadership to establish bedside ultrasound protocols, coordinates training programs for physician and nursing staff, maintains current knowledge of latest ultrasound advancements, develops quality control initiatives, provides support for complex bedside ultrasound cases, develops a standardized credentialing program for all non-radiology and radiology providers, and collaborates with IT and Medical Record teams. 

What’s Needed to Succeed:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in relevant specialty
  • Active medical license within New Hampshire or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Progressive program development and leadership experience
