The Role
We’re looking for a Recruiter & HR Generalist who is ready to make an impact. This is a hands-on, dynamic role where you’ll lead recruiting, manage HR operations, ensure compliance, and support our growing team. You’ll be a key player in helping ECE Subhub continue to build strong relationships with programs, candidates, and colleagues, while shaping the future of early childhood staffing in Michigan.
What You’ll Do
Recruit & Attract Top Talent: Lead full-cycle recruiting, build pipelines, and deliver a positive candidate experience for specialized early childhood roles.
HR Operations & Compliance: Manage onboarding, HR systems, payroll, and ensure compliance with licensing, I-9s, EEO, background checks, and other regulations.
Lead & Develop Teams: Supervise and coach HR Specialists, Recruiters, and Coordinators; set expectations, track performance, and foster growth.
Strategic Problem-Solving: Address high-volume staffing challenges creatively, use HR data to guide decisions, and support the growth of ECE Subhub.

What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Education, or a related field.
3–5+ years of combined HR operations and recruiting experience.
Experience managing compliance, HR systems (ATS, HRIS, payroll, onboarding), and talent acquisition.
Strong leadership and team development experience.
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Availability for remote work with occasional in-person meetings in Metro Detroit.
