Job Description:

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Process Operators for a client in Midlothian TX. The Process Operator is responsible for operating Tends KapsAll capper labeling and shrink wrap machines. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All Temp to Hire employees are offered competitive compensation $ 18.50 for 1st Shift 18.75 for 2nd shift as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical dental and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include 1st and 2nd Shift . Overtime is available on a first come first serve basis. 1st Shift 5 AM 3:30 PM 2nd Shift 9 AM 7:30 PM KapsAll Capper machine: Receives daily production schedule and production materials from the lead person. Loads caps into the hopper of the capping machine. Starts machine and observes operation to detect malfunctions of machine. Makes minor adjustments to the machine to control speed and tightness of capping. Stops machine and reports malfunction to lead person or supervisor.
Labeling machine: Loads rolls of labels onto a labeling machine. Setsup Domino printer with lot number manufacturing code date and expiration code date. Prints two labels and receives approval from the lead person for the correct lot number manufacturing code date and expiration code date. Aligns rolls of labels to ensure proper placement on bottles. Starts machine and observes operation to detect malfunctions of machine. Stops machine and reports malfunction to lead person or supervisor. Makes minor adjustments to the machine. Operates manual labeling machines on occasion.
Shrink wrap machine: Loads rolls of shrink wrap film onto the shrink wrap machine. Setsup conveyor speed length of plastic sleeve placement of sleeve onto bottle etc. on machine. Starts machine and observes operation to detect malfunctions of machine. Stops machine and reports malfunction to lead person or supervisor. Make minor adjustments to the machine. Adjusts temperature on heat seal tunnel on occasion.
Required Qualifications of the Machine Operator:
Previous experience in production manufacturing assembling and/or machine operating.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is essential.
Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts as needed.
Experience reading and interpreting production specifications a plus.
