Job Description

Salary: $70,000 - 73,000 per year Requirements:

• I have a Bachelor's degree and between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience in the field. I possess a Secret clearance. I also have the following skills and experience:
• A minimum of 2 years supporting networks, which includes network administration or engineering.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, an IT-related discipline, business administration, or technology management.
• An IAT Level II Certification (e.g., SEC+ or equivalent).

Responsibilities:

• In my role, I monitor, control, and isolate issues within a data communications network. My tasks include overseeing all network activities, activating and deactivating network lines according to set schedules, and performing both first-level and second-level problem determination, engaging with users and network vendors as necessary. I also:
• Install and maintain network equipment such as switches, hubs, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
• Conduct site network proposal walkthroughs and develop network plant proposals for participating sites using software that creates graphical representations of communications networks.
• Maintain and repair network infrastructure, including operating systems, routers, and other network-related components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to ensure optimal availability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Provide on-site training for end-users on system operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
