In this high-risk, high-acuity, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the Nurse Manager NICU will lead a skilled team caring for preterm and critically ill newborns with complex neonatal conditions. The Nurse Manager NICU will oversee neonatal ventilatory support, stabilization and resuscitation, thermoregulation, nutrition optimization, and family-centered developmental care, partnering with neonatology 24/7 to deliver seamless, compassionate neonatal care. You’ll help ensure readiness, rapid response, and a calm, confident culture where every action is meaningful.
Reporting to a Director of Women’s and Children’s Services, the Nurse Manager NICU is supported by experienced charge nurses, neonatal clinical educators, lactation specialists, respiratory therapy, and an exceptionally friendly, diverse interprofessional team. The Nurse Manager NICU will guide staffing and scheduling, onboarding and competencies, quality and regulatory readiness, and shared-governance initiatives. You’ll mentor neonatal nurses at all stages—from novice to expert—while advancing evidence-based practice, promoting professional certification, and fostering a supportive, inclusive environment where teamwork and newborn outcomes shine.
