Responsibilities:

• As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for:
• Cleaning and maintaining resident rooms, common areas, and other facility spaces to high standards of cleanliness.
• Ensuring that infection control and safety protocols are followed in all cleaning procedures.
• Handling and disposing of waste in accordance with facility policies and regulations.
• Collaborating with the maintenance team to report any issues or repairs needed.
• Assisting with the setup and cleanup of special events or activities within the nursing home.
• Providing support and a friendly presence for residents as you perform your duties.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, infection control, and safety procedures.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with residents.
• Physical ability to perform the tasks associated with the role, including lifting and moving light furniture.
