D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an  Graphic Designer -MTG . The right candidate will r esponsible for design, creation, and delivery of marketing related content (written and graphical) that supports marketing activities of the various branches of DHI Mortgage and DHI Financial Services. This position will work on multiple print and digital campaigns at a time.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Illustrate concepts by designing a rough layout of art and copy including arrangement, size, typography and style, as well as related aesthetic concepts. Develop and coordinate web graphics, brochures, logos, flyers, email and video graphics for specific assignments.
  • Complete marketing requests submitted by branches within tight deadlines and to required specifications, following all company policies and procedures
  • Develop written content for materials and review for grammar and factual information. Ensure that graphics and imagery are approved, accurate, and up to date
  • Ensure that the layout of all collateral, graphics, and imagery content is accessible and logical. Recommend improvements as needed. Format photos for use in print and digital marketing efforts.
  • Become familiar with mortgage specific products, services, licensing information, disclosures, and any other DHI Mortgage Compliance requirements using internal resources
  • Support users with webpage and email template designs
  • Assist in reviewing and proofing all advertisements
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing projects as needed
  • Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
 

Qualifications

 

Education and/or Experience

  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • Two to four years of related experience and/or training in graphic design and creating, developing, and analyzing marketing materials
  • Must be proficient or have working knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, and InDesign; Adobe Flash; JavaScript
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
  • Must be able to work within tight deadlines and budget(s) and have excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred
  • Ability to understand and/or calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest rates, proportions and percentages
  • Understanding of audio & video technology and methods; HTML, HTML 5, CSS, other markup languages; and CRM
