We are looking for a skilled manager to set up, maintain and oversee laser engraving (CO2 and Fiber) and UV printing operations. You’ll ensure the efficient running of production and drive the company’s growth goals. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures are fully optimized and that we continue to innovate and increase capacity.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all machining operations in production, prioritizing high quality, ongoing improvement, punctuality, efficiency, and cost reduction. This involves setting up accurate capacity planning, ensuring we have the right number of staff, and focusing on their training and development. Maximize output with existing staff
Support company growth through increasing companies personalization capabilities.
Drive, coach, and be accountable for measured performance and monitoring
Define and/or approve machining specifications and procedures
Develop staff via mentoring, performance evaluations and training as appropriate
Work with Warehouse Manager and dept. leads to ensure smooth process flow through all departments
Requirements:
5+ years of management or shop experience
Skilled in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop
CO2 Laser experience – 2+ years
Fiber Laser experience – 2+ years
UV Printing experience – 2+ years
A deep understanding of machine capabilities
Analytical skills Project management, equipment procurement and machining operation experience.
Excellent people skills needed to effectively interface with employee issues, customer needs and supplier issues as they relate to production requirements.
Attention to detail
Teamwork and communication skills
Ability to generate reports that reflect company KPI’s
