The Cost Accountant will be responsible for performing cost analyses, maintaining accurate cost accounting records, and ensuring effective cost control measures are in place. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of cost accounting principles.
Job duties to include but are not limited to:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment

The compensation for this position ranges from $61,419.00 - $92,129.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills, job-related knowledge, and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions. Smiths Detection provides comprehensive benefits including healthcare, 401K savings plan, company holidays, vacation, sick time, parental leave and an employee assistance program.
