Little Genius Academy of Edison is actively seeking a dedicated teacher for our preschool. Our ideal candidate will exhibit sound judgment and will engage wholeheartedly with each precious child. Experience with Creative Curriculum a plus.

• Supervising and managing daily activities for a class of children.
• A commitment to turning every moment into a valuable teaching opportunity.

• Regularly assessing each child's developmental needs.
• Maintaining an inviting, well-organized classroom that encourages creativity, exploration, and decision-making.
• Attending all mandatory staff meetings, workshops, and school functions as directed by the Director.
• Adhering to all rules and regulations related to the health, safety, and welfare of children.
• Demonstrating a consistently professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic.
• Assisting in maintaining a clean, clutter-free classroom environment with a strong emphasis on sanitation
• Performing other assigned duties.
• Ability to work both early morning and closing shifts.

Qualifications:

• Must meet all state requirements for this position.
• Minimum of 1 year of childcare experience.
• Pleasant and outgoing demeanor.
• Exceptionally professional and dependable.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, even in high-pressure situations.
• Outstanding organizational abilities, adept at multitasking and effectively managing time in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to interact with students of all ages and skill levels.
• Capability to lift up to 40 lbs. in situations related to child handling for program facilitation, child safety, and potential emergencies.
