Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Liquor Store Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, process transactions efficiently, and ensure compliance with alcohol sales regulations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers, verify age, and provide excellent customer service.
• Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Check IDs to ensure customers meet legal drinking age requirements.
• Assist customers with product selection and provide recommendations as needed.
• Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and ensure products are displayed neatly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store.
• Handle refunds, exchanges, and resolve customer inquiries professionally.
• Follow all liquor laws and store policies regarding alcohol sales.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age requirement per state/local alcohol laws.
• Previous retail or cashier experience preferred
• Basic math and computer skills for handling transactions.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., cases of liquor).
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Need a off-premise Basset certificate.
• Speak Chinese is preferred.
