Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Bookkeeper to join our growing team. This fully remote role allows you to work from home, with flexible hours between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, depending on your time zone. A quiet and dedicated home office is required for this position.
As a Bookkeeper, you will manage a portfolio of 10-20 clients, ensuring their financial records are accurate and up-to-date. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential, and experience as an Accountant or Staff Accountant is a plus. You will be responsible for key financial tasks such as reconciling bank accounts, handling payroll, managing invoices, and ensuring overall financial accuracy. Key Responsibilities:
Perform bank account and credit card reconciliations
Conduct bookkeeping reviews for accuracy
Manage invoices and handle bill/loan payments
File 1099 forms and calculate sales tax
Process payroll filing and reporting
Maintain financial transaction records
Submit detailed daily reports to supervisors
Track time and document completed client work using internal software
Perform additional duties as needed
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
1-3 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online is required
1-3 years of bookkeeping experience with small businesses is a plus
Additional experience as an Accountant or Staff Accountant is beneficial, but not required
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
QuickBooks Online proficiency is a must
Strong time management and punctuality
Ability to maintain client confidentiality
Located within the U.S. with strong English language skills
Working Conditions:
Flexible work hours; occasional evening and weekend work may be required
Must have a reliable computer, high-speed internet, dual monitors, and antivirus software
Webcam and audio setup for Zoom meetings are essential
Ability to work at a computer for extended periods, including data entry
Hiring Process:

Candidates will complete a QuickBooks Online (QBO) assessment with mock bookkeeping tasks
