We are recruiting for a 1st shift Box Truck Driver for a large 3PL Distribution company in Louisville, KY. Hours are 6AM-2:30PM, Monday-Friday. May require some OT. Pay starts at $20.00 an hour. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. Candidates must have valid driver's license and clean driving record to qualify.
Job Duties:
Driving a 26-foot box truck (Automatic) to and from docks to customer docks. You will be responsible for loading and unloading the box truck with a forklift. Managing paperwork to ensure it gets to the proper location. Meeting with customers on a regular basis. You will be driving a forklift in the warehouse and other duties when not driving the box truck. Good computer skills needed.
You will be working independently most of the time so good time management skills required. Good communications skills, detail oriented, and be able to multitask.
Required:
Valid Driver's license
Clean driving record
Excellent Attendance record
Computer skills
Forklift certified
Read/Write in English
2 years' experience in driving box truck
