Join YNHHS at Bridgeport Hospital as a B/E, B/C Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist on a full-time basis. This weekday position is located at Bridgeport Hospital with a one-in-six weekend call.
Our team consists of seven board-certified physicians and five advanced practice providers with specializations in geriatric psychiatry, emergency medicine, child and adolescent services, and psychiatry. We have a full care coordination team such as Nurses, Social Workers, and Physical Therapists, to also assist in the treatment and care of our patients.
The Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist will be required to perform team rounds, admissions, discharges, creating aftercare plans, and providing consultation services to the hospital. The Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist is responsible to direct the care of each patient in our 19-bed unit.
