Job Description

Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm with over 33 years of industry experience, is seeking a full-time Construction Administrative Assistant in the New York City area. . The ideal candidate will have  At least 3 years of experience working in the administrative field for construction or governmental agencies, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Construction, Business Administration , or a related field and experience in the construction industry.

If selected, candidates must provide digital proof of certifications and qualifications before the interview. Information provided will be handled confidentially and used solely for employment purposes, including client background checks.

This position is full-time, on-site. Candidates are expected to live in or near the New York Metropolitan area.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Provide clerical support to project managers, contractors, and other construction professionals.
  • Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments and manage office operations by organizing files and documents.
  • Assist with budget preparation for construction projects.
  • Ensure office supplies are stocked and order as needed.
  • Maintain schedules for facilities and equipment.
  • Prepare work estimates and handle related reports.
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure compliance with facility standards.
  • Resolve conflicts and issues as they arise.
Qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction , Business Administration , or a related field required.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in the administrative field for construction or governmental agencies. 
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant in the construction field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Project), Adobe Creative Suite, e-Builder, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of construction terminology and processes.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
