**Are you passionate about something?**

We are looking for individuals who are driven by passion and a desire to excel. If you have a passion that motivates you to be better and happier, we want to hear from you. Our company culture thrives on working with people who are passionate about their lives and careers. While we may not share the same passions, we value the energy and dedication that comes from pursuing what you love.

**Work-Life Balance and Flexibility**

We believe that you can have it all—great work and a job that allows you to pursue your passions. We don't accept half-measures or laziness but do offer flexibility. When we need to be fully engaged, we're all in. And when we're off, we're chasing something bigger.

**About Us**

We are a remote-based web development company focused on building exceptional software solutions for our clients. With a team of 20 employees across the U.S., we support custom Laravel applications and help e-commerce companies achieve more with WooCommerce and WordPress.

**Position Overview**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. You will collaborate closely with our team of designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure our software products meet client needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Collaborate with the development team to plan and implement features and functionality
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Test and debug software to ensure it is error-free and performs as expected
- Deliver accurate estimates for work
- Debug issues in high-risk situations
- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in software development
- Assist with the maintenance and support of existing software products
- Maintain communication with developers, project managers, and clients
- Meet with clients during the discovery phase of the project cycle
- Ensure proper documentation through GitHub and Jira
- Escalate issues to the Development Lead, Project Manager, or clients

**Requirements:**

- 4+ years of experience as a developer
- 2+ years of experience creating, maintaining, and improving WordPress and/or WooCommerce Plugins and Themes
- Backend development experience
- Experience with WooCommerce
- Experience with Laravel a plus
- Solid knowledge of PHP, HTML/CSS, MySQL, JavaScript, webpack, and Git
- Experience working with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Must be U.S. based (currently not accepting candidates from New York)
- Must be able to develop fully remote in the Cloud. Experience with GitHub, GitHub Codespaces, and Docker
- Experience with Jira and Confluence a plus

**Benefits:**

- $40-50 per hour depending on experience and skill level
- Benefits and PTO Stipend
- Employer matching 401k after 90 days
- Flexible Schedule
- Remote work

**Flexible Work Schedule:**

Does a 5-hour workday sound good to you? How about a 4-day work week without having to work late to catch up? We believe in offering unconventional flexibility to our employees. If you're looking for a schedule that allows you to pursue your other passions, we want to hear from you.

**Join Us:**

We believe it's a good thing to have employees who have other passions. We've found that if we can be flexible for them, our employees will lean in and give us their best work when they are working.
