With over 600 happy clients, we’re known for providing exceptional pet care that’s professional and personalized. If you’re passionate about pets and eager to be part of a supportive, learning-focused team, this opportunity is for you!

This weekend Dog Nanny is a particular type of dog walker / pet sitter. In this role, your time will be dedicated to one very special Golden Retreiver Puppy.

Position Details:

  • Salary: $18 to $20 per hour, with opportunities for overtime through additional pet sitting and overnight care services.
  • Monthly Earnings: Start earning $600 to $700 before gratuities, bonuses, and other earning opportunities.
  • Schedule: Saturday from 10am to 4pm, alternating Sundays from 10am to 4pm. Additional work opportunities are available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Health and Well-being: Ensure the puppy’s health and happiness with attentive care.
  • Dog Walking: Engage in 30-40 minute walks with 10-15 minute breaks. Lots of tennis ball games are included!
  • Enrichment Activities: Keep the puppy mentally stimulated with activities and games.
  • Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe "dog area."
  • Rest Periods: Facilitate naps using cooling pads and toys for comfort.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare meals, provide fresh water, and clean bowls/utensils daily.
  • Grooming Activities: Light brushing, dental care, and special paw treatments.
  • Affectionate Interaction: Enjoy plenty of petting and playtime.

Regular schedule:

  • No day is identical. Some level of flexibility is required based on the weather and the puppy's needs.
  • 10am-12:30pm is the first active period with walks and enrichment.
  • 12:30pm-1:30pm is a nap with access to toys, acting as a lunch break for staff.
  • 1:30pm-3:30pm is the second active period with more walks and enrichment.
  • 3:30-4pm is a meal, fur brushing, tooth brushing, and a moisturizing treatment for his paws.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Physically Fit: Able to keep up with a lively, young Golden Retriever puppy.
  • Professional: Exhibit patience and positivity working in a home environment.
  • Dedicated: Meet the high expectations of pet owners with reliable, quality care.
  • Customer Service:  This is not a sales position; every staff member represents the Privileged Paws team. Customer service skills are required in this role.

Become part of our team where pet care is more than a job; it's our passion. Gain valuable experience while enjoying competitive wages, a supportive management team, and opportunities for ongoing learning. Apply today to make a difference in the lives of pets and their families with Privileged Paws!
