Job Summary:

Oversees the daily operations of the Vail Warehouse, Uniform Distribution Center, and mailroom. Manage warehouse and UDC staff to include Denver Truck Driver. Ensure that facilities are maintained in an organized, clean and safe condition at all times.

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $56,485 -$75,000 
  • Employment Type: Year Round

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the facility
  • Be able to perform all aspects of the operations including receiving, data entry, order processing, picking, auditing, shipping, delivery, replenishment and merchandise return
  • Efficiently maintain product flow through the warehouse and processing accuracy
  • Researching and resolving warehouse issues
  • Effective performance evaluations for all staff
  • Overall organization and maintenance of the facility
  • Accountability for all staff members (attendance, punctuality, productivity, accuracy, safety)
  • Manage and track inventories of warehouse and uniform operations, report as needed
  • Promote a safe, organized and efficient work environment for these operations
  • Payroll management in the facility
  • Maintain good relationships with internal warehouse staff, vendor personnel, and corporate office personnel
  • Innovative rewards and accountability tools must be developed, maintained, and updated to keep facility staff motivated and challenged.
  • Develop hourly staff members to take on more responsibility, encourage growth within the company, and increase employee retention
  • Effectively maintain seasonal and temporary help, as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure their part inventory is managed to departmental goals
  • Properly receive product daily checking for quality and accuracy of shipment
  • Management of warehouse/shipping staff, uniform and mailroom staff
  • Schedule ‘Denver Truck’ operations and ensure compliance with DOT requirements
  • Management of proper accounting, inventory and payment of all products
  • Coordinate delivery/pick up of inventory items to internal customers and departments
  • Assist in the development and management of an annual operating budget
  • Become proficient in using MaintainX and Coupa receiving systems
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Strong leadership skills required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3 years’ experience in warehouse operations preferred
  • 5 years’ supervisory experience required
  • Must possess a valid US Driver’s License
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • English fluency
  • Ability to work flexible/extended hours, including evenings and/or weekends as needed
  • Strong understanding of business processes including distribution and logistics operations, including inventory control and accounting practices
  • Spanish fluency beneficial
  • Proficient in Merchandise Management Systems

The expected pay range is $56,485 -$75,000. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
