This is a remote position.

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver virtual patient care services through an advanced telehealth platform. In this role, you will provide holistic, evidence-based care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health and behavioral conditions for patients aged 18 months and older. Responsibilities include offering mental health counseling, managing psychiatric diagnoses, prescribing medications, and educating patients on health maintenance, pregnancy prevention, and STI prevention. You will also collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual consultations, providing accurate diagnoses and treatments.
  
• Offer mental health counseling and develop treatment plans.
  
• Educate patients on health topics such as STI prevention and contraceptive care.
  
• Document patient care in an EHR following established guidelines.
  
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  
• Serve as a clinical resource for quality initiatives and program development.
  

Requirements

• Dual certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
  
• Unrestricted nursing license (in Mississippi or willingness to obtain additional licensures).
  
• Master’s degree in a relevant program with National Board Certification.
  
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience.
  
• High-speed internet connection and a private, professional workspace.
  
• Ability to maintain patient privacy and uphold telehealth standards.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in additional languages, such as Spanish, is a plus.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
