ABOUT PARITY:

Buildings in our beautiful cities, where we live and work, are producing 40% of the CO2 going into our atmosphere and contributing to climate change. We need to HEAT, VENTILATE, and AIR CONDITION our buildings 24/7. Most of the energy consumed in a building is for our comfort, but 50% of it is wasted! This is because buildings have little to no technology to control this.

Parity is a Remote HVAC Optimization as a Service company. We remotely control and optimize HVAC systems 24/7/365 to deliver automatic energy savings and revenue to multifamily residential buildings and hotels. Using advanced algorithms, Parity can predict the amount of energy needed ahead of time to operate a building to meet its occupants' demands and adapt the building's systems and machinery in real time. We save our customers:

1. Time - we automate setpoint adjustments and demand response protocols. Our Pi (Parity Insights) dashboard provides early alerting services when things go down.
2. Money - Parity contractually guarantees the savings that we expect to deliver to our multifamily customers. We also unlock additional revenue through the automation of grid services.
3. CO2 Emissions - we reduce a building’s emissions by optimizing its HVAC systems and reducing energy waste.

THE ROLE:

We are looking for a high performing, experienced, process oriented and mission-aligned executive ready to manage Parity’s service delivery teams and advance their career at the intersection of the property technology industry and the quickly growing climate technology space.  This individual will be responsible for the delivery of Parity’s current and future services across North America.  You will directly manage the (1) customer success, (2) customer support as well as the (3) measurement and verification teams.  Additionally, this individual  will collaborate closely with the product and sales/account management teams.  And as a member of the leadership team, contributing to the company’s overall strategy, growth and success.  This individual will report directly to the Managing Director of the United States.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and continuously improve all aspects of the Customer Experience and service delivery operations including support tools
• Drive customer retention and maximize customer satisfaction and expansion
• Ensure customer contract obligations are met including delivery of measurement and verification (performance) reports
• Develop, mentor and retain team of high technical and operations staff including Director level direct reports
• Ensure that team structure is continuously optimized for scale and future growth
• Contribute to the development of overall company strategy including geographic and service expansion 
• Proactively identify service and product development opportunities for Parity to further satisfy customer needs and/or capitalize on opportunities in the market
• Collaborate closely with Product team and other stakeholders to develop the near-term and long-term product roadmap for Pi and other customer facing elements of Parity’s offering
• Implementing and managing processes to ensure energy performance is met across customer-base
• Proactively identify service and product development opportunities for Parity to further satisfy customer needs and/or capitalize on opportunities in the market
• Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of relevant energy, technology and real estate related policies, programs, and market conditions 
• Lead team culture efforts which foster positivity, motivation and accountability
• Ensuring that service delivery teams are meeting and exceeding goals

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Passion for transformative technology and clean energy
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• 3+ years of management experience
• Strong understanding of the HVAC controls industry and/or energy efficiency industry
• Experience in client facing positions
• Understanding of the real estate industry
• Ability to problem solve
• Located in the NYC Metropolitan Area or Greater Toronto Area
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals
