Job Overview:

EGS Security Solutions is seeking highly skilled and professional Unarmed Security Patrol Officers to join our growing team in Maryland. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in military, law enforcement, or private security and demonstrate excellence in situational awareness, patrol procedures, and customer interaction. This position is critical in maintaining the safety, security, and peace of mind for our clients and the communities we serve.

• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols across assigned areas.
• Perform wellness checks and spot checks on clients and property.
• Enforce parking policies on private property.
• Monitor for and report suspicious activities, safety concerns, or security breaches.
• Complete accurate, detailed, and professional incident and daily activity reports.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and disturbances.
• Maintain high visibility to deter unwanted behavior.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while interacting with clients, tenants, and the public.
• Remain composed and effective in high-pressure situations using excellent communication and de-escalation skills.

Minimum Requirements:

• 4+ years of military or law enforcement experience.
• 5+ years of private security experience.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong written and verbal reporting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed post orders.
• Must be physically fit and capable of extended patrols.

Mandatory Certifications & Documents (Must be Current and Provided at Time of Hiring):

• CPR Certification.
• First Aid Certification.
• Valid Maryland Guard Card.
• High School Diploma or College Degree.
• Recent Full Physical Examination.
• TB Screening (within the last 12 months).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Clean Driving Record.
• Current DMV Driving Record (MVR).
• CJIS Background Check Results (Required to undergo before hiring).
• Drug Test Results (Random Drug tests upon hiring).

(Additional requirements from the client will be requested after initial selection.)

Additional Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must demonstrate sound judgment, discretion, and integrity.
