Job Description

NOLA Protection Group a leader in professional security services in the New Orleans and surrounding area is currently accepting applications for the role of a Traffic Control Officer at the Erato Cruise Terminal. We are responsible for directing traffic for the cruise ship terminal.

Responsibilities:

Must be able to stand for extended periods of ti me
Must be able Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
Direct heavy traffic entering cruise ship terminal
Direct cruise ship passengers to parking terminal
Great communication skills & Provide customer service
Able to work under pressure

Qualifications/Requirements:

Must either be registered as a Security Officer with LSBPSE, or be able to meet requirements for registration, including:
Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
Pass a background and fingerprint check with the Louisiana State Police
Complete 16 hours of necessary classroom training
Must be in good physical condition to complete necessary assignments, which might include walking or standing for extended periods of time
Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
Must have a professional appearance
Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
Must have open availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
Must have a valid driver’s license or Valid photo ID
Must have reliable transportation
Experience not required, but preferred
