Job Description

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in supporting Microsoft Teams and Cisco Unified Communications.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams administration and troubleshooting.

Proficiency in Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and related technologies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

SkillSet:

VoIP and Telephony: Understanding of Voice over IP (VoIP) technologies, SIP (Session Initiation Protocol), and telephony systems.

Networking: Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, routing, and network security.

Microsoft Teams: Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, its architecture, and how it integrates with other Microsoft 365 services.

Cisco Systems: Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Call Manager, and Cisco VoIP solutions.

Avaya Systems- Familiarity or two years experience with Avaya communications Manager administration and implementation

Desirable Certifications (preferred):

1. Microsoft Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate: Validates the ability to configure, deploy, and manage Microsoft Teams. Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert: Demonstrates advanced skills in managing Microsoft 365 services, including Teams. 2. Cisco Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA): Provides foundational knowledge in networking that is beneficial for understanding Cisco systems. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP): Offers more advanced knowledge, particularly useful if dealing with complex Cisco environments. Cisco Certified Specialist Collaboration: Focuses on Cisco's collaboration solutions, including VoIP and telephony systems.

3. Additional Certifications: CompTIA Network+: Validates foundational networking skills, which are important for managing and troubleshooting network-related issues. ITIL Foundation: Provides knowledge of IT service management, which can be beneficial for managing IT services and support during the migration.
