General Purpose Of The Job The Technical Analyst for Data Analytics supports enterprise-wide data analytics and reporting activities. They partner with individual business units to define business needs and gather requirements that will be used to build data analytics solutions. This experienced individual contributor collaborates with business and technical teams and utilizes their experience working with data platforms and gathering requirements for data analytics platforms.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities - Researches, analyzes, validates and documents business data requirements for integrating business data sources into data analytics solutions
- Facilitates meetings with technical and non-technical staff to clarify data requirements and acquire business approval for all data requirements.
- Conducts data profiling and other analyses to determine the efficacy of available data sources.
- Maintains moderate knowledge of data lake and warehouse data structure design, definitions, capabilities, SQL, processes and data integrity constraint.
- Works with Data Analytics and Data Management teams to onboard new sources of data.
- Performs other related work as assigned.

Education And/Or Experience Bachelor's degree in MIS, Information technology, business analytics, computer science, or related field of study; plus three(3) or more years of progressively responsible related experience; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Three (3) or more years of experience writing complex SQL queries

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities - Experience working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake (preferred), Google Big Query, Amazon Redshift, Microsoft SQL Server or equivalent

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
