**Job Description:**

- Review and analyze accounting records, prepare adjusting entries, and compile comprehensive workpaper files.
- Prepare federal and state tax returns (1065, 1040, 1041).
- Develop tax projections and perform estimate calculations.
- Manage fixed asset accounting, personal property tax, and business license reports.
- Conduct tax research as needed to resolve issues encountered during the preparation process.
- Maintain open and effective communication with team members.
- Adhere to prescribed procedures, rules, and laws while seeking opportunities to streamline and enhance processes and workflow.

**Qualifications:**

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting.
- At least 3 years of current tax experience (experience with a family office or similar setup is preferred).
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with UltraTax.
- CPA certification is not required but is a plus.
