Systems Integration Engineer

As a Systems Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of various systems and technologies within our organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement solutions that align with our business goals. Your role will involve troubleshooting integration issues, optimizing system performance, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of integrated systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Design and Integration: Design and implement integration solutions for disparate systems, ensuring compatibility and efficient data flow.
• Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, system architects, and IT teams to understand system requirements and integration points.
• Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to validate integration points and ensure system stability and performance.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for integration processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Optimization: Monitor system performance and optimize integration processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Support: Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders regarding integration-related queries and issues.
• Compliance: Ensure all integrations comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in systems integration, software development, or a related role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in PHP based frameworks (e.g. Laravel/Magento/Drupal), integration tools (e.g. Tyk or similar API gateway), DevOps tools (e.g. FTP, Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Redis, EKS, Rancher, Jenkins), hands on experience in handling server(nginx/Apache) configurations (request rewrite) and API development.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of system architecture, data exchange formats (e.g., XML, JSON), and database management (MYSQL); additionally, Ansible, Jira, and Talend is a need.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse groups.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
• PHP(5+ yrs), Server Management(5+yrs), API Gateway(3+ yrs), Devops(2+yrs).
