About the Role:
As a daily substitute teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment for our students. While you may not cover the same classroom for extended periods, your adaptability and support will ensure that students receive continuity in their education. Your dedication and expertise will help create a productive atmosphere, allowing students to thrive even in the absence of their regular classroom teacher.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 22 years old
- Must have at least 60 college credits (trade/military background may be considered in lieu of college credit requirements)
- Must be fingerprinted and background checked
- Must maintain a professional demeanor at all times
- Must be willing to work with children
Responsibilities:
- Cover classrooms when the permanent teacher is unavailable
- Interpret lesson plans left by the permanent teacher
- Manage classrooms from bell to bell
- Support other classrooms as needed
