What you will do:

This is an advanced professional supervisor position responsible for supervising, directing, motivating, and training their employees. Responsible for technical and administrativie functions for the Receiving, Supply and Maintenance Warehouse departments. Monitor and approve requisitions in the Supply Inventory Maintance System (SIMS) and MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) to ensure proper level of supply items are ordered for accuracy and efficiency.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of purchasing, supply inventory, property management, food service and/or real property management.
  • Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to formulate policies and procedures.
  • Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to analyze and identify operational and/or management problems.
  • Ability to develop various reports.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or its equivalent.
  • A least one year of clerical experience.
