Job Overview
BluArc Steel & Precast is seeking skilled Certified Stick Welders (or those interested in becoming certified stick welders) with experience in structural steel erection, to join our team. Stick Welders will be responsible for welding and assembling steel and precast components for various construction projects. This position requires a high level of precision and attention to detail.The ideal candidate must also demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by following the proper industry procedures and wearing appropriate protective equipment when necessary.
Pay: Ranging from $24 - $27 per hour, based on experience.
Hours: A typical work day is Monday through Friday from 7:00AM to 3:30PM, actual working hours and days may vary due to project deadlines - overtime may be required as needed.

Requirements
Certification in stick welding is preferred, but not required - willing to train the right candidate
Proficient in using hand tools and operating welding equipment
Experience with crane operation is a plus
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Must be willing to work at heights
Willing to work in all weather conditions
Ability to work well in a team environment
Must be available for some travel outside of Sioux Falls (about 20%)
Physical endurance to complete the necessary tasks
Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings
