Job Description

Epika Fleet Service is hiring a Full-Time Staff Accountant in Nashville, TN. On-site full-time the first 90 days and then Hybrid. Epika has partnered with Hueman for this search. 

 
As a Staff Management Accountant, you will need to be a hands-on self-starter with a strong analytical background to manage cash needs and financial forecasting while understanding business trends. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring financial health and leading best practices in cash management. The role also involves supporting mergers and acquisitions, handling banking activities, reconciliations, and accounting implications, while maintaining effective communication with finance and operations teams. Knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and business licensing is essential for success.

 
Job Responsibilities: 

• Reconcile main operating bank account and manage corporate finances to ensure sufficient funds for various activities.
• Provide detailed cash forecasts and collaborate with teams to support investment decisions.
• Oversee integration of newly acquired companies and maintain relationships with banks for account management.
• Facilitate vendor payments, including credit card and sales tax coordination.
• Manage cash sweeps, debt/credit facilities, corporate allocations, and perform special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 3+ years of experience in financial forecasting.
• Proven experience in assisting corporate financial teams with planning and presenting financial recommendations.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Outlook).
• Experience working with banking systems and data extraction for financial modeling.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or within a team; familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, and Treasury Management Systems (TMS) is a plus.
