Job Description



As the Sr. UX/UI Designer, ensure an accurate translation of a client requirements into design. Measure and optimize web-based applications to enhance usability, leveraging industry trends and exploring several approaches to solve end-user problems and provide the best user experience.  Work hand-in-hand with client stakeholders and Product Owners/Product Managers to strategize and develop a suite of applications for various operating systems including Windows, Web, Android, and iOS.  

  Key Performance Expectations:  

  • Able to segment user groups and work with multi-disciplinary teams to gather primary and secondary information and insights around user needs and business objectives using a variety of research techniques/methods and tools  

  • Being a highly organized workshop facilitator who knows how to prepare, analyze, and run workshops with clients/users and product teams  

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to present concepts, ideas, and insights to the project team and clients  

  • Develops personas, journeymaps, and valuestream maps that reflect workflows and key tasks/‘jobs to be done’  

  • Synthesize data and consolidate analyses of current-state processes/workflows, pain points, and opportunities across functional groups  

  • Conduct UX audit to evaluate usability, analyzing user data, heuristic evaluations, and assessing information architecture to determine opportunities for improvement   

  • Develop information architecture for a portfolio or suite of products and applications, to include underlying organization, structure and relationships between site content and functionality  

  • Develop service blueprints reflecting future-state improvements and dependencies for user segments, (different personas), contributing functions/capabilities, and supporting systems  

  • Create any combination of flow diagrams, graphics designs, storyboards, and sitemaps to produce high-quality solutions that address product/service specifications  

  • Develop future-state prototypes that reflect needs of business operations and external customers, reflecting features, navigation, and application functions and behaviors, content, and flows  

  • Conduct UAT/user testing to validate intuitive interactions, customizations for user groups, and degree to which requirements meet Business and user needs  

Qualifications

  • Solid experience in creating sitemaps, wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and wireflows needed to convey dynamic use of features and functionality  

  • Strong ability to organize information and project tasks effectively for all phases of a project and future iterations  

  • Robust communications and facilitation skills for conducting user research, interacting cross-functionally and with various stakeholders, and managing design sessions and workshops  

  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills for conveying design solutions   

  • Proficiency in design/prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Suite (e.g., InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) Miro and product development tools like JIRA/Confluence, Azure DevOps  

  • Knowledge of web and mobile design principles, responsive design, and accessibility best practices for digital platforms  

  • Experience using agile development processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, to execute design efforts effectively  

  • Portfolio or work samples demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions
