Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement personalized speech-language therapy treatment plans
• Conduct audiometric screenings and provide recommendations for audiology services
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident care
• Provide therapy services for residents with memory impairments
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
• Educate families and caregivers on communication strategies
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Job Requirements:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid New York State SLP license
• Clinical Competence Certification from ASHA (preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
