Job Summary Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified software engineer with experience developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliability, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Above all, we judge success by the success of our team and the happiness of our customers. Location: Louisville, KY Responsibilities Coding software applications based on business requirements. Work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an indepth evaluation of variable factors. Develop fully fledged platforms which do not need other applications to function. Utilize a range of different technologies and languages such as React.js Node JS to develop applications. Frontend and backend coding languages development frameworks and third party libraries. Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience developing with front end technology such as: ReactJS with Next JS HTML CSS JavaScript jQuery Advanced NPM Node.js Advanced Vue.js Angular or React. Experience in Advanced Web performance Cross browser compatibility Content Management Advanced understanding of modular design patterns Content Management advanced experience and best practices technical writing communication skills Unit and Experience Testing Advanced Webpack Advanced. Possess oral and written communication skills to clearly and effectively convey issues and ideas to team members, management and customers. Experience working in a Scrum Agile type environment.
