Position Overview:
We're seeking Seasonal Tax Preparers to assist small business clients during tax season. As a Remote Tax Preparer, you will have the opportunity to work with small business owners and apply your expertise to provide excellent tax preparation services. This position offers flexibility, with competitive compensation and benefits, including paid time off and a 401(k) plan with company matching.

Requirements:

Active Enrolled Agent (EA) or CPA certification with an active PTIN
3+ years of professional experience in small business tax preparation
Strong understanding of LLCs, Partnerships, S-corporations, and C-corporations, along with related tax issues
Solid knowledge of tax returns, including 1040, Schedule C, 1065, 1120, and 1120S, as well as state forms
Ability to understand balance sheets and tax basis
Strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and problem-solving
Tech-savvy, including experience with remote desktop tools and Google Workspace (G Suite)
Familiarity with CCH software is preferred
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and sign tax returns for small business owners across the U.S.
Process a minimum of 2 tax returns per day, ensuring quality and accuracy
Manage a book of business, supporting up to 50 clients at a time
Provide expert guidance to clients regarding personal and business taxes, ensuring compliance with IRS and state tax regulations
