SKILLED LABORER (PERMANENT INTERMITTENT)/ DIABLO RANGE DISTRICT / ALTAMONT SECTOR / TRACY, CA.

The reporting location for this position is Altamont Sector Office, Tracy CA. This position will work under the supervision of the Park Maintenance Supervisor.

Diablo Range District is looking for a Skilled Laborer who will be responsible for performing trail maintenance, fence installation and repair, vegetation restoration and erosion control at Carnegie SVRA located in the beautiful hills of eastern Alameda and western San Joaquin counties. This position may act as lead person when working with Park Maintenance Assistants, Laborers, Sr. Maintenance Aides, Maintenance Aides, Inmate Crews, Conservation Crews, or Volunteers. ATV, ROV, and 4x4 operation is required to complete the duties. Training will be provided.

Training and Development Assignments may be considered

This position may work up to 1500 hours in any calendar year.

This position is designated as not telework eligible.

The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.
