Our client, a leading financial services company, are hiring a ServiceNow GRC Developer to join the team on a contract basis in Buffalo, NY. The successful candidate will develop and implement innovative information system solutions to address complex challenges, improve efficiency and drive the evolution of the company’s systems.
Responsibilities
As the ServiceNow GRC Developer, you will conduct systems analysis, design and development to address a range of simple to complex requirements.
You will resolve client challenges by proposing practical, effective solutions and recommendations.
Mentor junior team members and manage tasks for smaller projects.
Participate in system integration efforts, including testing, debugging and preparing comprehensive test plans.
Examine and interpret relationships between programs and interfacing applications.
Create detailed technical and functional specifications and ensure accuracy through review and refinement.
Recommend and implement new technologies, policies or processes to enhance operations.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and teams, providing expertise on application functionality and features.
Maintain thorough documentation, including logic flowcharts and assessments, while adhering to established standards.
Ensure compliance with risk and regulatory policies, escalating issues as necessary.
Skillset
Bachelor’s degree with two years of experience in systems analysis or application development.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow.
ServiceNow Developer or Administrator certification is preferred.
Proficiency in application development, issue resolution and the use of project management tools.
Strong analytical, detail-oriented and lateral-thinking abilities.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across business units and deliver effective system solutions.
Self-driven, action-oriented professional with strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
