The pay range is $89,700.00 - $161,500.00

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. A role at Target Printing Services (TPS) means that you’ll be part of a team that enables the strategy of internal partners including Marketing, Target Enterprise Services, Store Operations/Communications, Human Resources and Talent Acquisition through print and kitting projects.  The TPS team has a broad range of responsibilities including planning, prepress, design, color management, print production, finishing, kitting, fulfillment and distribution. 

A Senior Production Manager role entails leading with a focus on safety, continuous improvement, relationship building, communication and strategic thinking. You will foster a “safety first” culture through awareness, training and accountability. Your guidance will help other production leaders achieve established standards of service, quality, accuracy and productivity. Utilize critical thinking to assess the business and develop short-term and long-term plans that will drive process efficiencies. Getting to know your team and championing their unique strengths will motivate and inspire them to reach higher. With your support, both teams and individuals will improve through their clear understanding of goals and expectations, mutual accountability and regular constructive feedback. Your skills for planning and execution will take center stage as you set individual and team priorities and proactively structure resources to meet them. Open and clear communication will be key to presenting the big picture, and your commitment to “walk the walk” will show solidarity as you spend time on the floor every day, observing and interacting with your team members. In addition, you will be responsible for delivering on other tasks or special projects as assigned by the Director of Target Printing Services.

Schedule: This role will require working a rotating red/blue schedule from the hours of 6pm - 6am with some weekends.

This role is 100% onsite at our Target Printing Services facility located in Brooklyn Park, MN.

About you:

• Four year degree or equivalent experience in an operational or print shop setting

• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to handle changing priorities and use of good judgement in demanding situations

• Ability to motivate others with strong conflict management and problem solving skills 

• Experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and termination

• Must be flexible to work a variety of hours as business demands including overnight, weekends and holidays
