ERP Suites is looking for a Senior JDE Sales & Distribution Consultant with a blend of industry experience and JDE expertise, particularly in consulting as a senior functional consultant.
We need someone with solid consulting acumen and strong analytical skills to gather business requirements, lead client workshops and manage client expectations. The consultant will also lead troubleshooting efforts, handle functional configurations, and support JD Edwards projects and clients.
You’ll be helping clients with business process improvements, solving day-to-day challenges, and identifying new growth opportunities. We’re looking for someone who can lead a team, work independently, and juggle multiple tasks. Experience leading or managing projects is key. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are a must, along with a professional approach to handling both internal and external customers. A positive attitude and commitment to delivering top-notch performance, even under pressure, are essential.

Location

• Our home office is based in Cincinnati, OH. However, we are open to hiring someone who is fully remote regardless of location. 
• Although the position is fully remote, there may be occasional travel required based on job needs.

  Duties and Responsibilities

• This position focuses on leading the end-to-end implementation of the distribution modules from plan, design, build, test, deploy, and support of JD Edwards distribution modules like Sales & Distribution, Inventory, Advance Pricing, Transportation, Warehouse, and Procurement.
• The consultant will be responsible for facilitating and orchestrating client business requirements, design, business process design workshops, and functionality demos during up front client engagement of plan and design phases.
• The consultant will be responsible for working closely with both client and internal project teams during data conversion, configuration design and testing during the build, test, and deploy phases.
• The consultant would have 3-5 end to end implementation engagements experience during their tenure.
• The consultant leverages past experiences to provide consulting and advisory to clients in relation to business operations, business transformation and solving business problems as it relates to the JDE ERP.

• This position focuses on guiding and assisting clients through day-to-day system support of all JD Edwards Distribution modules like: Sales & Distribution, Inventory, Advance Pricing, Transportation, Warehouse, and Procurement and more
• The consultant will be responsible for working with the client team to resolve issues, troubleshoot, perform maintenance, and continue system enhancement to optimize business operations
• The resource should have extensive knowledge and experience with JD Edwards Distribution business processes
• Using in-depth knowledge of the JD Edwards Distribution Applications, as well as industry best practice expertise, consult with clients to provide cost-effective solutions to solve business issues
• Provide high-quality customer support, by working with client teams in gathering information to solve day-to-day system issues
• Troubleshoot client issues by performing various activities such as research, open SRs, system testing, and system configuration
• Collaborate with client team in performing upgrade activities such as system configuration, testing and end-user training
• Proactively contribute to the overall support process, by suggesting & executing new process efficiencies, documenting common support issues and workarounds, to minimize number of future support requests
• Refine customer requirements in detail, document and present to the client for approval
• Identifies and applies creative and innovative approaches to resolving system issues
• Work with Oracle to resolve service requests
• Participate in team training activities to keep current with JD Edwards’ functionality
• Duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, MIS, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• At least 7 to 15 years of related work experience in JD Edwards in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Enterprise Application Integration
• Strong leadership skills: able to conduct meetings and write functional specifications for development team.
• Able to work with clients to understand current state processes and define future state processes based on business objectives
• Preferred experience with program leadership, governance and change enablement
• Mentor junior team members

• Exposure to areas like EDI
• Familiarity with BI Publisher, and other third-party software.
• Familiarity with SQL .
• Familiarity with reporting tools
• Familiarity with Orchestrator and new technologies
• Familiarity with consulting and advisory for JDE Distribution cross industry
• Working independently providing JDE Distribution business advisory
