We’re looking for an experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our team!
As the Senior HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in managing daily HR operations, supporting talent development, and fostering a positive workplace culture. You'll be a trusted advisor to our leadership team, driving improvements in HR processes and enhancing the employee experience. Key Responsibilities
Provide guidance on employee relations, organizational changes, and talent development strategies.
Lead employee engagement and cultural initiatives that strengthen retention and alignment with our values.
Oversee employee benefits programs, from open enrollment to vendor coordination.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, keeping policies up to date with the latest legal requirements.
Conduct site visits across multiple Illinois locations (Shorewood, Burr Ridge, Chicago).
Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and compliance.
What We’re Looking For
8-10 years of experience as an HR Generalist (preferably in Construction/Utility industries).
A Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
SHRM or similar HR certification required.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Paycom or similar HRIS systems is a plus.
Ability to travel to our various Illinois locations.
