JOB TITLE: Senior Flight Readiness Inspector

LOCATION: San Antonio, TX

PAY RATE: $45/hour

Job Details:

  • Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

  • Inspect and verify flight component installations and system functionality.

  • Troubleshoot and document issues in pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems.

  • Conduct pre-flight, post-flight, and pre-delivery inspections.

  • Ensure compliance with maintenance and modification requirements.

  • Document non-conformances and assist in corrective actions.

  • Work independently to meet inspection and delivery objectives.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED with 4+ years of relevant experience OR

  • Vocational school/Associate's degree with 2+ years of experience OR

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • 3+ years of aerospace industry experience.

  • 3+ years in quality inspection and/or auditing.

  • 3+ years of experience with Velocity and 787 production applications.

  • Ability to work any shift, including nights and weekends.

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift up to 35 lbs.

  • Comfortable working at heights and in noisy environments.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting work instructions.

  • Ability to use personal protective equipment and handle hazardous materials.

  • Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and occasional lifting over 50 lbs (team lift).

  • MUST BE US PERSONS

Desired Skills:

  • FAA Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) license.

  • 3+ years of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk experience.

  • 3+ years of 787 Program experience.

  • 2+ years of leadership experience.

  • Proficiency in REDARS, PSDS, and BAC specifications.

  • Experience with NCR/EPD documentation.

  • Microsoft Office proficiency.

  • 3+ years of flight line operations experience.
