What the Talent Acquisition Department does at Worldwide

Reporting to and working closely with the Head of Human Resources, Centers of Excellence, the Senior Director, Global Talent Acquisition will be responsible for leading the global Talent Acquisition function and critical to the growth of organization by deploying strategies to bring in top talent. This leader will work closely with the HR leadership team and business unit leaders to create and implement talent acquisition strategies that fulfill the talent requirements for both permanent and supplemental staff. This role will shape and design world-class Talent Acquisition processes and programs throughout the organization across business segments and geographic regions.

What you will do

  • Lead and an overall Talent Acquisition function that consists of 10-15 total staff globally, including Recruiting Management, Senior Recruiters, and Talent Acquisition Operations professionals.

  • Develop a team of world class recruiting professionals who are business knowledgeable, proactive, efficient, responsive, and client focused.

  • Drive all talent acquisition processes, including employer branding, candidate experience, interview training, diversity hiring, hiring metrics and innovative and effective sourcing and recruiting strategies.

  • Create and drive a strategy for talent mapping and talent pools for key skill sets, including executive level leaders.

  • Work closely with key stakeholders inside the organization and build and maintain strong internal relationships across the company’s leadership team.

  • Build a data-driven recruiting organization, including analytics that provide insight and decision support. Lead with a data-driven approach to capture, analyze, and leverage existing and potential data to drive decision making. Provide regular metrics to reflect the effectiveness of the recruiting function.

  • Build and maintain strong external relationships with vendors, recruitment agencies, search firms, job boards, advertising partners, assessment/testing partners, etc.

  • Conduct market trend analysis regarding competitors and market changes.

  • Align talent strategies with broader Center of Excellence deliveries to meet business objectives .

What you will bring to the role

  • An exceptional leader with broad-based business acumen, sound judgment and proven, in-depth experience in global talent acquisition. It’s a critical success factor that this individual has a global perspective and has managed talent acquisition professionals and functions on a global level.

  • Proven ability to scale and lead, develop and coach a global Talent Acquisition team and function. Designs and drives the organizational talent acquisition strategy.

  • Exceptional communications skills, able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, external constituencies, and target candidates.

  • Ability to influence, collaborate and strategically partner across multiple areas within HR and all lines of business, ensuring sponsorship and buy-in from key stakeholders, in a similarly complex and global business model.

  • Strong relationships with and proven experience in managing external agency partners/vendors.

  • Closing and negotiating executive offer packages.

Your experience

  • An undergraduate degree in business or a related area is required , and an advanced degree is preferred.

  • 15+ years of Talent Acquisition experience with a progressive increase in responsibility.

  • 8-10 years of leadership and management experience in a global Talent Acquisition environment, with direct experience managing stakeholders and Talent Acquisition teams globally.

  • Contract Research Organization (CRO), Professional Services or Life Sciences industry experience is strongly preferred.

  • Experience with strategic implementations of transformative Applicant Tracking System / other Recruiting Platform implementations is required , and experience with Workday is preferred.
