Job Summary:

The SAP QA Tester will participate in all quality assurance and testing efforts for the agency’s enterprise software systems, particularly focusing on SAP S/4HANA and BW/4HANA environments. The SAP QA Tester will ensure that software products and systems meet the highest quality standards, working closely with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of IT experience, including substantial hands-on expertise in SAP systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Participate in all testing phases of the software development life cycle, with a particular focus on SAP S/4HANA and BW/4HANA environments.

· Adhere to test strategies, plans, and cases to ensure software quality meets organizational standards and project timelines.

· Participate in the development, and execution of functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance tests.

· Work closely with project stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that testing aligns with project goals and deliverables.

· Implement industry best practices for software testing, continuous improvement of processes, and quality metrics.

· Ensure all defects are properly documented, tracked, and resolved.

· Collaborate with SAP Technical and Functional teams to identify and resolve testing challenges specific to SAP S/4HANA and BW/4HANA modules.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

· Minimum of 7 years of IT experience, with strong knowledge of system development life cycle (SDLC) and software quality assurance principles.

· Minimum of 5+ years of software system testing experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality testing services.

· Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA and BW/4HANA environments, with a deep understanding of SAP functionality, and testing tools.

· Experience executing test strategies, test plans, and test cases for large, complex enterprise systems.

· Experience with SAP-specific testing tools (e.g., SAP Test Workbench, HP ALM, UFT, or similar).

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

· Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

· Experience working in a state agency or public sector environment is preferred.

· Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

· Knowledge of automation testing frameworks and tools is a plus.

Minimum Education:

· Bachelor’s Degree – Required

Required Certifications:

· No required certifications.

· SAP, SAFe, CSM certifications desired.

Other:

· Candidates must be US Citizens / Green Card Holders due to background check / clearance process.

· Candidates must be able to travel to Tallahassee, FL on occasion.
