Responsibilities:
Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Family Medicine Residency Program and regional department.
Oversee program administration, compliance, and accreditation requirements.
Lead resident recruitment, supervision, evaluation, and promotion.
Ensure high-quality education and maintain an effective learning environment.
Support scholarly activity and faculty development.
Serve as liaison to GMEC, DIO, and ACGME Review Committee.
Provide clinical Family Medicine care and teach/mentor students and residents.
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent).
Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program.
Eligible for or able to obtain a medical license in the State of West Virginia.
Prior experience in graduate medical education leadership preferred (e.g., Associate Program Director, Program Director, or similar roles).
The candidate must demonstrate Family Medicine expertise and at least three years of documented educational, administrative, GME experience.
